My wife and I have mobility issues, the staff at this store were outstanding. One picked an item from the bottom shelf, as I have spinal problems. Sukie on the register was not only professional but friendly. One of our products leaked and she obtained a replacement. Service above and beyond what is expected in a supermarket, a credit to staff and management. Barry Ford OAM
Loaded with diversified product ranges ! E-Ink Price Tag ! But some products price are quite Pricey. Happy Smart Shopping Folks.
Brand new Woolworths in Rhodes Central. Underground carpark is free for first 3 hours. Layout is tidy with lots more choices compared to other woolies in the suburbs. They have a scan and go counter but it wasn't working as it should have when I tried. I made my payment of 5 items via the app, expecting to cruise through the scan and go lane. However, the system doesn't let me pass through and required the personnel to double check my items by scanning each one again using the handheld scanner. Scan and go is a really good alternative which saves time scanning items at the checkout counter. Perhaps further enhancement is required to make it perfect though. They have a sushi counter just on the right of the entrance which looks quite nice especially with the platter deal.
Located in the Rhodes Central building, it is extremely modern and large ! The interior was surprisingly neat and well organised and the whole place was well maintained. I didn’t explore the ins and outs of the woolworths due to covid restrictions but it was very easy to find what we needed to and we were thoroughly impressed by the amount of international products at this woolworths! Staff also seemed very friendly
Good place to do shopping, team members very helpful. Availability of stock level is very good. Store have some quite hours for those who want to do shopping with any noise.
3.6 - Dropped in score because it's always hard to find eggs here. Today, there was newly packaged eggs but the prices sky-rocketed and there was only the 1 brand to choose from! I also tried to buy some ham or Turkey but I looked and could see that the product had not been served properly with random ripped pieces of meat, which looks awful! There is also not a great range with the Deli/Seafood Items, and blanked out counters. I've changed my preference to other stores now but visit randomly. **** 3 Years ago: 4.3 - Even though I had switched over to do my regular shopping at this new Woolworths, it dropped one star for me today. An item was scanned at the wrong price, and the girl who assisted at the checkout didn't know what to do. (Staff I have encountered in the past would have quickly walked off to check and been back already!) so I had to suggest she could do a price check by either going to the aisle or finding another staff member to help her. Instead, she directed me to go and take photos to show her, mid-scanning my shopping! I think that is appalling and not in accordance with the experience I would expect to receive from Woolworths. It is still my favourite store but will keep an eye out for this.
I really struggle with supermarkets. I usually leave with nothing due to sensory overload. I went to Rhodes at 11 am, not knowing it was Quiet Hour. It was the most amazing experience. I got what I was looking for in minutes and left feeling good about myself that it wasn't yet another shopping fail. Thank you for doing Quiet Hour and thank you so much for doing it so well. I'm actually sort of looking forward to next time. It was a very empowering experience.
Good service. Asma was great, very pleasant and friendly
